There’s been a lot of speculation as to what the next official single from Lana’s debut album would be, since she shot both the “Summertime Sadness” and “National Anthem” videos back to back, but officially, “Summertime Sadness” will act as the fourth official single in Germany while “National Anthem” will be released in the rest of the world. No word on when the videos will premiere, but “National Anthem” officially gets released in the UK on July 9, 2012. Stay tuned for more info as it arrives, and credit us if you use this information elsewhere!
We are incredibly happy to announce that we are collaborating on a very special project with fellow Lana fansite, LanaOnline.com; the Lana Del Rey Birthday Project!
The Project consists of two different gifts we are going to present to Lana:
1) Birthday Card:
The first is a simple birthday card that we would design for Lana that would be full of fans’ signatures. We thought of many different ways of acquiring these, but the simplest and most efficient way is for every fan to sign his or her name on a blank sheet of paper, which he or she would then scan onto their computer to send to us.
2) Birthday Video:
The second is something a bit more complex. We’re going to make a video for Lana consisting of videos, pictures, designs from fans, all wishing her a happy birthday. You could film yourself, take a picture of yourself holding up a card, design a graphic, anything goes!
The deadline to submit everything is the first of June (June 1). You can e-mail your submissions to us at lanadelreybirthdayproject@gmail.com any time before the deadline. The sooner, the better! We hope you guys participate!

Born to Die has officially debuted at #1 in the WORLDWIDE Albums Chart, selling approximately 327k! She’s the first new release of the year to top the chart!
In other chart news, “Video Games” is up to #21 on the Worldwide Singles Chart, and Born to Die is set to remain #1 for a second week in the UK Album Chart. Congrats Lana!!
